This is AVONs original body lotion that so many people rave about.  I think it is comparable to Jergins and Lupiderm, but is much thinner.  It goes on soft and is not oily.  If you can get it on sale, it will be the best deal you can get on any high quality lotion.  This worked great for my dry skin but didn't help my daughters eczema - so I would recommend the moisture therapy if you have extremely dry skin.  The original does not have any scent.  I have heard many good things about this lotion, and having owned basically every brand of lotion I have to say I am very happy with it.

This is AVON's new lengthening mascara.  According to AVON, it makes lashes 87% longer.  I naturally have extremely long eyelashes, so I don't need to extend mine.  Although I did like how it made my eyes feel and look.  I do personally wish it was thicker (I naturally have thin blonde lashes).  My eyes are very sensitive to mascara, and I had no reactions with this mascara.  I had my sister and friends with shorter lashes try it out to get a better opinion to see if it really works lengthening.  They really liked it, in fact my sister asked if she could keep mine.

I turned 30 this year, and had to accept the fact that I am no longer in my fun 20's.  Because my 54 year old mother has many wrinkles and her skin is beginning to sag (hopefully she doesn't read this) I decided I better start a skin regiment to prevent this from happening to me.  .  I always used L'oreal or Olay moisturizer, which I thought were very good creams, but apparently I didn't know what a good cream felt like.   Oh my gosh I am in LOVE with these creams.  I never knew putting on a moisturizer could feel so amazing on your face.   I finally now understand why so many people love the ANEW products.  I know it sounds funny, but I now love each day and night when I get to put these on.  I have been using it for a week now and my skin is so much softer throughout the day and not just when I put the cream on.  It is suppose to take 2 weeks for the fine lines and pores to reduce, so I will update my review next week.  Another bonus is that it is SPF 25.  I know that the ANEW products can be a bit pricey, so if you decide to buy them watch the brochures, as they go on sale every few weeks, and if you missed the sale remember you can always have AVON price match the old sale.

AVON Lip Balms (chapstick) Review

I can't think of AVON without thinking of thier chapsticks (which are technically called lip balms because Chapstick is trademarked).  I always loved when my mother would buy these for me, and banana was my favorite flavor.  Instead of having standard flavors, AVON now comes out with seasonal flavors.  So if you find a flavor you love, stock up on it.  I personally think these are great for kids and younger teens.  They do the job of keeping your lips soft, but like most chapsticks out there, you do have reapply often.  They are more creamy than Blistex and smell great.  If you want a colored lip balm see my next post on Flavor Savors Lip Gloss.  If you need a more intense lip moisturizer I would look into buying a lip moisture treatment.

I like AVON's tweezers so I thought i would try this.  I would recommend jus buying them seperately as this is pretty useless.  The brush is way to thick to brush your eyebrows, and I'm not a big fan of the trimmer.  Too bad, as I thought it was a great idea.  All of my customers have returned thiers and I just use it as an extra tweezer.

Because of my dry lips (and my habit of occasionally biting my lower lip) I always have issues with extra lasting lipsticks actually lasting more than 1 hour.  I have tried every brand (litterally).  The only extra lasting lipstick that would actually last for me was MAC's, but I hated how the clear gloss would burn my lips.  This lipgloss is a little more sticky than most lipgloss so it's not 'kissable proof,' unless your significant other likes a sticky face.  It does however last like it says.  It will last a 4-6 hours for me, which is really long for me.  After an hour or so it loses the 'gloss & stickiness' but the color is still stained on your lips.  If you prefer the glossy look, you could always apply regular clear gloss when this happens.  I like how the gloss goes away so I can apply lip balms in the winter months.  I own so many lipsticks, lip stains, and glosses.  This is now the only colored lip product I use - I love it.   The colors go on lighter than you would think, so choose a darker color.  I definitely would  recommend it.

AVON Glimmersticks Eye Liner Review

This is the product that initially switched me over to AVON products.  In college I was desperate to find the perfect eye liner (after my tattooed eyeliner faded..grrr).  I think I tried every brand out there and fell in love when I found AVON Glimmersticks.  It goes on very easily, you don't have to press hard.  It lasts all day, never fading, and washes off easily as well.  AVON comes out with new colors for seasons, so if your a fan of the Glimmerstick watch for those as they are only temporary on sale.   I personally just like to stick with the blackest black now, but a few years ago I was a big fan of the emerald color as well.  If I could only own 1 AVON product, this would be it.
